Delivery Date:

Delivery dates are estimates and are determined by the request of the customer. If a customer requests a specific delivery date, that date can be guaranteed for a specific fee charged by the freight line. Once agreed upon, the customer may not extend a delivery date for longer than two weeks. If a delivery date is delayed more than two weeks, the customer may be held responsible for storage fees that will be due prior to shipment of their products.

Estimated delivery dates may on rare occasions change based on uncontrollable circumstances. Missouri Table and Chair shall not be held responsible for any delay of goods caused by such an occasion

Terms:
In order to best serve every potential customer, Missouri Table and Chair requires a 50% down payment before processing an order. This down payment is to include 50% of all costs associated with the order including products, delivery, installation, financing charges, or any other services. The remaining 50% is due at least 48 hours prior to the estimated shipping date.

When requested, and on their own authority, Missouri Table and Chair will extend payment terms on account. These situations are handled on an individual basis. Applicant businesses will be required to submit an application with current business and bank references. If approved, Missouri Table and Chair may extend payment terms up to a maximum of 30 days.

Missouri Table and Chair does not guarantee the availability of any items shown on this website, our catalog, or flyers. Lead times and stock availability can and will change from time to time without being updated on the website.

Handling charges:
Some items may require special crating, boxing, or protection. You will be notified of any special charges before they are added to your order.

Periodic Inspections:
End Users are required to make periodic inspections of all products purchased looking for loose parts, damage, or loss of structural integrity that may occur from normal daily use.

If any deficiency is observed, the end user needs to remove the product from service and contact Missouri Table and Chair regarding repair or replacement. Failure to follow these guidelines will void all expressed and implied warranties.

Minimum Orders:
Unless specifically stated, there are no minimum orders. However, price breaks are given on certain items based on quantity purchased.

Purchase Orders:
Purchase orders are required when ordering products and may be sent via mail, fax, email, or phone. If orders are placed via phone, they must be immediately followed by a written confirmation. If you are unable to present a purchase order, you will be asked to sign a copy of the order for our records.

Wood Furniture Storage Information:

Wood tables, including butcher block and solid oak, must be kept in a climate controlled area.  If the end user intends to store wood tables before use in a warehouse or storage unit, it must be climate controlled for temperature and humidity.  Any damage caused by improper storage will void the warranty.

Warranty:
Missouri Table and Chair warranties all finished products against manufacturing defects with normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of invoice. This warranty does not cover any item that has been abused, neglected, or misused. This warranty will also be void on any item that has been repaired or modified by someone other than Missouri Table and Chair. In addition, this warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages incurred as a result of a defective product such as reinstallation costs or lost profits. Freight in all circumstances will be the responsibility of the end user.

On approved warranty issues, Missouri Table and Chair reserves the right to replace or repair the damaged item(s).

Returns and Cancelled Orders :

No product can be returned without written authorization from Missouri Table and Chair describing in detail the exact items to be returned. Returns approved by Missouri Table and Chair may be subject to a restocking fee of 25% or more. Custom orders can not be returned.  Finally, all freight fees associated with returns are the responsibility of the end user. All fees mentioned in this paragraph are based on the total purchase price, not the deposit.

Exchanges may be made if approved by Missouri Table and Chair. The end user is responsible for the return freight costs and restocking fee of 25% or more of the original items as well as the freight costs of shipping the new items.

All returned items must be in the original packaging, secured to a pallet and ready for a freight carrier to pick up.  In the case of all returns and exchanges the end user is responsible for paying any charges before shipping. Any credits owed will be issued after all items have been returned and inspected. Any items that are received damaged will not be credited.

Freight Claims :
Upon receipt of goods at the point of delivery, it is the responsibility of the consignee (end user) to inspect the shipment. If damage is apparent or if there are any shortages, the consignee must note this on the bill of lading or delivery receipt and have the driver sign or initial the notation prior to the delivery truck’s departure.

Any concealed damage must be reported within 72 hours. Reporting concealed damage does not guarantee reimbursement by the shipping company. Missouri Table and Chair will assist the customer in seeking concealed freight damage, but it is the responsibility of the consignee to file and follow up the claim. For this reason it is of utmost importance that the end user inspects each and every box as it is unloaded from the delivery vehicle.
